Where and when does RWL Portsmouth take place?

We run every Sunday starting from Hilsea Lido London Road PO2 9RP. We meet 09.15 for 09.30 start. In the event of cancellation we will post the information on our website and Facebook page.

How much does it cost?

Nothing – RWL Portsmouth is absolutely free to all.

Do I have to register?

There is no need to register, come along and have some fun.

What clothing should I wear?

We suggest you wear comfortable clothing and footwear of your choice.

How long are the courses?

We have a choice of both a 2K & 5K courses.

Do I have to Run?

Not at all. Whatever you choose to do we will support you all the way.

Can children take part?

We love seeing children and families taking part. Children up to 13 years old should be accompanied by parents or guardians.

Is there car parking available?

Free parking is available at Hilsea Lido but fills up quickly. To Save any delay we encourage people to use the overflow parking at The Tax Office Northern Road PO6 3XA. There is also a car park on the Southbound carriageway directly below the footbridge PO2 9RR. Both are a 5-minute walk to the start.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes but they must be on a short lead (no extendable leads) and we would ask you to start near the back of the group.

Is the event timed?

Both the 2 and 5K are timed using stopwatches. When you finish we will tell you your finish time and if you wish to record it we have a Strava group named Run Walk Local Portsmouth where you can record your time.
